lowercase were formed in the early 90s in the far reaches of Palm Desert, California exploring post-hardcore and loud fuzzy edged indie rock. Recorded between 1994-1998, "asides and besides" collects the band’s early recordings and evolution, with a sound reminiscent of a louder Slint and quieter Unwound. Fresh off killer shows with Clikitat Ikatowi and Unwound in 2025, we are excited to put this collection on vinyl for the first time.
