Pettersson - Ashen Plain LP

Pettersson is a three-piece from Vienna, Austria, which blurs the musical lines between screamo and emo. After taking a break for a couple of years, the band is finally coming up for air and is here to release their second full-length.

Whereas the 2016 debut "Rift and Seam" came along a little smoother and easier to digest, "Ashen Plain" hits us like an exploding water balloon. It's fast, it's fierce, a little bit chaotic at the first (and maybe second) listen - but it definitely hits the right spots. Pettersson surely have saved up a lot of emotions in the past years and they have now just had to be set free.
